had lunch at tampopo yesterday.
we were seated next to a conveyor belt but it, strangely, had no plates of sushi on it.
it was a delivery system for sushi and sashimi dishes and was touted as the newest and first of its kind in singapore.
so we had fun.
select and hit send and then wait.
forgot to take a picture but to the right are three little buttons. the first lights up when your food is on its way. the second tells you that food is nano seconds away cos you can see it. and the last one asks you to remove food from belt and well, start eating.
in less than 5 mins, our order of mekajiki sashimi glides down the belt on the left, stops right before the window and makes a precise right-angled turn onto the final stretch.
impressive.
and what's going on here?
so cool.
do we go in a yacht or boat??
( tsk, tsk, *mother shakes head*)
(that's better)
hello, it's lake taupo, my dear.
counting down to the new zealand trip.
so looking forward to it.
