first, we got up bright and early for the terry fox run.

it was a beautiful morning. we took it real slow and leisurely, like this person

after that, we went for breakfast at simpang bedok.

while the girls went home and headed straight for bed ( tsk tsk, these young people), oz and i showered, changed and headed to the national museum to catch the last day of the POMPEII exhibition.

Pompeii and its neighbouring cities were buried after mount vesuvius more than 2000 years ago. apart from showcasing artifacts from that era, we were there to see the much talked about body casts of the victims who were buried alive when the eruption swallowed the city.
then the rest of the day was spent baking about 100 pineapple tarts.....
